Terms of use

These terms cover the Reji app for iPhone and iPad and the website reji.co (together “Reji”).

1. The app

Reji is free. By downloading it from the App Store you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it on devices you own. Apple is not a party to this agreement but may enforce it. You may not copy, sell, rent, reverse engineer or decompile the app.

Some features need an internet connection, for example translations, example sentences and pronunciation. Your decks are stored on your device and in your iCloud account, under Apple’s iCloud terms.

2. Public decks

Public decks on reji.co are created by their authors, who keep the rights to their content and grant Reji a licence to publish it on the site and make it available inside the app. Authors are responsible for having the rights to what they publish. You may study public decks for personal use. Copying them elsewhere needs the author’s permission.

If you believe a public deck infringes your rights, email [email protected] and we will take it down while we review.

3. Warranty and liability

The app and the site are provided as they are. Reji does not guarantee that translations, examples or audio are free of errors. To the extent permitted by law, Reji is liable only for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health.

4. Changes

Reji may update the app, the site and these terms. Material changes to the terms are announced on this page.
